Chris has over 30 years’ experience within senior sales roles for some of the world’s largest global organisations however this is not where the story begins. Before Chris embarked on the path of a sales professional he served 6 years within the Queens Household Cavalry. To this day, Chris owes a lot of his success to the values and virtues he learnt whilst serving in the oldest and most prestigious regiment in the British Army.
1994 Chris joins The Glen Dimplex Group, an Irish owned global manufacture of household appliances. Glen Dimplex brands include the likes of Glen, New World, Dimplex, Morphy Richards, Roberts Radio, Belling, LEC, NOBO and Valor. Chris spends ten years with Glen Dimplex working as a Senior National Account Manager serving accounts such as Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, B&Q, Homebase, John Lewis, Debenhams, Argos
2004 Chris moves to emerging American consumer goods giant Kaz Consumer Products Inc. USA and takes up the position of Sales Director UK based in Bracknell, England. Kaz Inc. licence brands include Braun Healthcare, Vicks & Honeywell. Under Chris’s stewardship Kaz UK grows quickly to £12m as they opened up accounts with Tesco, Boots, B&Q, Argos, Sainsbury’s, John Lewis and ‘’the new kid on the block’’ Amazon UK. During this period, Chris makes frequent visits to China to set up and manage a FOB portfolio with Tesco, Walmart/ASDA and Kingfisher Asia (KAL).
2011 Kaz Consumer Goods Inc. New York are purchased by Helen of Troy Group El Paso, Texas. The Kaz UK office is absorbed into the UK Headquarter of Helen of Troy UK based in Sheffield, England. Chris relocates to take up the newly created role as Channel Director. Helen of Troy brands include OXO Housewares & Baby, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Revlon. These licenced brands trade across a multi-channel, premium customer base which includes all the major grocers, department stores, online giants and pharmacy retailers
2017 Following a period of 5 years of strong performance and considerable growth Chris takes the decision set up his own company Chris Hoyle ESA. His vision is to provide a service that assists new, young and entrepreneurial companies to bring their products to market. Utilising his many contacts within some of the UK’s largest retail chains Chris offers a broad spectrum of expertise to assist businesses to get their special product on to the shelf and in wider distribution.
